Adding Products
Products are grouped into categories such as Base Cabinets, Tall Cabinets, Upper/Wall Cabinets, Pantries, and Components.
Components include: panels, stand-alone doors, inner drawer kits and kick faces.remove, or
Remember each added product can have different settings from your defaults set previously.
You also have the option to use these new settings to update the defaults for the room.
Adding your first product
From your Job menu, Select Add Product on the left menuSelect Base -> Base Cabinets -> Select a cabinet configuration to add
e.g. Base Pair of Doors.
Specs:
- In this tab you can modify cabinet dimensions from the defaults set.
- The 3D Preview window lets you visualise the changes being made.
- Additionally a variation request (e.g. "add a cable entry hole to right gable") note can be added and will be reviewed and verified by us on job submission.
Materials:
- Much like the setting default materials, you have control to change the materials on a cabinet by cabinet basis.
- In this tab you have the same control over Interior and exterior materials that you do when setting material defaults for the room.
Doors:
- In the doors tab you can modify the default door gaps and margins
- You can also set a hinge series and number of hinges for this particular cabinet.
Shelves:
- In the shelves tab you can add or remove additional shelves.
- Switching on advanced options gives you much more control of the style (adjustable/fixed), position, setback and the option for a shaped shelf.
After all modifications have been made, hit Save Product and it will be added to your list and your quote will be automatically updated.
Adding overheads, and tall cabinets work in the same way.
Adding Base Drawers
Drawer units have the same specs and materials tab functionality, however the additional "Drawers" tab brings some added versatility compared to standard base cabinets.
Drawers Tab:
- Drawer Margins (Optional) allows for modification of the default door gaps and margins.
- Note: the Drawer face type applies to Shaker doors. See Additional features for more information.
- You have control over each drawers face height and hardware ("Drill panels only" must be selected in the specs tab to drill hardware not stocked by Click Cabinetry)
